Ben started his volunteer work as a Green Guide in 2011 with the goal of adding street trees to his block of Almond Street. Now that many new trees have been planted, his focus for the block has expanded to include the promotion of recycling and affordable water/energy-saving technologies. Ben keeps current on the latest efficient green home products, testing many new devices for practical use in his own home.
