What is a Tree Tender?

Tree Tenders are folks who have completed the PHS class and have knowledge of tree care and identification. They know how to bring people together to get more trees in the community!

Tree Tenders are vital the mission of Plant One Million, an initiative lead by PHS to increase the Greater Philadelphia Area tree canopy coverage to thirty percent.

A Place at the Table Screening with PHS

This documentary investigates hunger in America and proposes solutions to the problem. Screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring renowned anti-hunger advocates Steveanna Wynn, executive director of SHARE Food Program and PHS City Harvest partner, and Mariana Chilton, associate professor at Drexel School of Public Health and director of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities. Free, but space is limited.
