Our friends at the Philly Fixers Guild have been featured in this month's GRID magazine! The article showcases the Guild's work in the community through their Repair Fairs, and the mission of keeping items out of landfills with a fix!

Congratulations to long time Sustainable 19125 + 19134 volunteers Ben Davis and Holly Logan on their accomplishment and recognition! They've worked incredibly hard recruiting volunteers, marketing, and organizing Repair Fairs in our community.

Creating waste is almost synonymous to the thought of restaurants. Given the nature of the industry, restaurants tend to accumulate unthinkable amounts of trash between throwing away uneaten meals to products gone bad to bathroom trash. Restaurants do try to be sustainable when they can by means of recycling, but no restaurant has taken sustainability as seriously as the Chicago-based sandwich shop, Sandwich Me In.
