Farm to Families Holiday Food Drive!

During the months of November and December, Farm to Families will be collecting non-perishable food items (canned goods & boxed food) for the Holiday Food Drive. All food items will be donated to the food pantry at CWEP and will be given to families in need this holiday season. Drop your donations off when you come pick up your weekly order! There is a box for donations in the trailer. Thank you!

Farm to Families Holiday Recipe Raffle!

The Holidays will be here soon! We create family memories during the holiday season – often around the dinner table, sharing a yummy meal.

To honor your holiday memories, Farm to Families is asking you to share your favorite recipes with us and tell us a little bit about your family traditions.

Submit one favorite holiday recipe each week during Farm to Families for a raffle ticket. You could win a brand new FREE crockpot!

Please write your name and the best way for us to contact you on your recipe.

Want to know more about Farm to Families?

Farm to Families is a program where families place weekly orders for boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables for $10 or $15. Healthy recipes for the food in the box are provided!

We distribute boxes every Thursday out of our Garden Center at Frankford and Berks from 4-7pm. The produce is all local during the summer, and some of it is local during the winter but not all items come from nearby. The box contents change each week. Some items are certified organic and some are not. We also have local meat from Philly Cow Share, local eggs, Lancaster cheese, and other products available for purchase in addition to the boxes each week.

To register for the program, email f2f@nkcdc.org , stop by the NKCDC office, or call 215-427-0350 x110.
